Puzzle mode: never guess again
The oldest complaint about Minesweeper is that a perfectly played game can still
come down to a coin flip. Puzzle mode fixes it properly. Each board is generated
in advance and handed to a logical solver; anywhere the solver runs out of
deductions, the generator gives that cell away and re-verifies the whole board
from the start. The result is a position that is provably finishable by
logic alone, all the way to the last cell. Easy, Medium and Hard set how
deep the reasoning is allowed to go — so Easy doesn't mean a smaller board,
it means more of it is already done for you.
25 tilings, one honest engine
Hexagons, triangles, octagons and squares, Cairo pentagons, rhombille, herringbone,
snub trihexagonal, kisrhombille and more. There's no special-cased "hex variant"
bolted on — one engine drives every topology through the same interface, so
every board plays by exactly the same rules.
The first click is always safe
Mines are scattered after your first reveal, with the cell you clicked
excluded. No game has ever been lost on move one, and none ever will be.
LAN multiplayer, two ways
Play over your local network with no server, no sign-up and no internet.
Co-op puts everyone on one shared live board, clicking at the same
time. Compete deals everyone the identical board and lets you race.
Replays you can actually share
Every game records itself. Win one and you can export it as a branded card, an
animated WebP or a real H.264 video — rendered by the app, not by a screen
recorder — and hand it straight to the system share sheet.
Leaderboards that mean something
Times are ranked per tiling, per difficulty, per board size, per game mode —
and puzzle boards are ranked separately again, by puzzle difficulty. A 40-second
hex win never gets quietly compared against a 40-second square one.
Themes and tile styles
Seven colour themes — three of them properly dark, with a bright digit palette
so the numbers still read — and five tile styles from classic flat to glossy
dome. Preview any of them on a real board before you switch.
Nothing leaves your device
No analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no account. The only
network access it asks for is your local network, for LAN play. Your scores, saves
and settings live in a database on your device and nowhere else. Read the
privacy policy — it's short, because there's nothing to say.
Built for a touchscreen
Pinch to zoom and drag to pan, so even a full Expert board is workable on a phone.
Flag mode toggles with one tap instead of a long press, holding a revealed cell
previews exactly what a chord would open, and the game autosaves itself so closing
the app never costs you a board.
